Hung Hing Ying Building

Although originally a Students Union Building in 1919, this Edwardian-style landmark has also lived through many guises. As one of the earliest buildings of the University, it was briefly the main administrative building after the Secord World War, and was later converted into the Senior Common Room for staff in 1974. It now houses the Department of Music.



University Museum &
Art Gallery
(Fung Ping Shan Building)

Originally established as a library for Chinese books. Today, the University Museum and Art Gallery houses over a thousand Chinese antiquities, primarily ceramics, bronzes, painting, and the largest collection of Yuan dynasty Nestorian crosses in the world.



May Hall & Eliot Hall

The ornate red buildings known as the Old Halls, are situated at the southeast edge of the campus. They had previously been indepenent residential halls since 1915. Now May and Eliot are homes for academic institutes and centres.
